This is evident in his tenure at Peloton Computer Enterprises, where his strategic vision centered on creating SaaS Platform product lines that emphasized sustainable practices and ESG-focused product solutions.

    Internationally, Bryan's entrepreneurial ventures in eCommerce and technology across North America and Asia have consistently prioritized sustainability, focusing on solutions that offer tangible value while also positively impacting the environment.

    His diverse experiences, from leading construction projects in New England to directing oil and gas operations in strategic global locations, have always incorporated an ESG lens. With an acute understanding of product monetizing and ESG and sustainability within existing technological infrastructures, Bryan's work has transformed how businesses perceive and integrate sustainability into their growth strategy.

Christopher Olson

  • Cities are at the center of the energy transition. Christopher works with cities and many of the world’s largest energy companies that are leading initiatives to build a lower carbon energy future, developing the full range of energy sources to provide reliable and affordable energy to the world today and into tomorrow.

    Prior to his appointment in Houston, Christopher held positions as a diplomat, business consultant, and military officer. With the U.S. Department of State, Christopher had diplomatic postings in the Balkans, South and Central Asia, and advised U.S. and international government and business executives on a range of energy, trade, and political issues.

    As a business consultant in the private sector, Christopher advised companies on corporate market strategy, organizational structure, and business processes. During his military service Christopher was a U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer leading large, diverse, cross functional teams.

    Christopher is a graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in history and political science, and holds a master’s degree from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. Prior to joining the City of Houston, Christopher obtained an MBA with highest honors from Rice University Business School.

Dr. Ivor Ellul

  • CiSK Ventures was incorporated in 2003 with a vision to provide commercial and technical advice to energy businesses, focusing on complex, high-value issues. The company leverages his unique balance of technical and business experience and knowledge to focus on matters comprising company performance, profitability, and, increasingly, carbon neutrality. The company is a Member of Rice Business Partners at Rice University actively involved in Energy Transition and CleanTech initiatives.

    Dr. Ellul served as visiting Professor to the Petroleum Engineering Department of Imperial College London. He is also a past member of the advisory board of the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering of the University of Houston. Dr. Ellul serves as Chairman of the board of MorphPackers, Ltd., and sits on the board of directors of West Titan Energy. He has served on the advisory board of EV Private Equity and on the Board of Trustees of Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart. He serves as Chairman of the Pipeline Simulation Interest Group. He is a Past Chair of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Gulf Coast Section and a Past Regional Director of SPE International.

    Dr. Ellul holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malta and MS and PhD degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London. He is a registered Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom and a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.

Kevin Drake

  • Kevin stands as a leader in the realm of ESG, regulatory strategy, and product stewardship. At Huntsman, in his role as Global Director, he spearheaded corporate product safety and regulatory affairs, embedding product stewardship and toxicological principles into the company's core operations. This was a position where Kevin's aptitude for strategic EHS integration shone, leading merger and acquisition activities of unprecedented scale and fostering collaborations with industry behemoths like the ACC-Product Stewardship Committee.
    In his tenure with Nalco Champion, an Ecolab Company, Kevin advanced to the role of Global Director for Regulatory Affairs. His leadership was pivotal in steering the Energy Services business unit towards sustainable horizons. His expertise in seamlessly navigating the regulatory landscape was evident when he adeptly led SAP-EHS implementation and integration projects while acting as a bridge between the company and key regulatory entities.
    As Director for Regulatory Affairs at Microban Products Company, Kevin was entrusted with the critical responsibility of overseeing all corporate regulatory affairs. Here, he developed innovative strategies which further integrated health safety and product stewardship norms. With Kevin at the forefront, the company navigated through complex and contentious regulatory issues, obtaining both national, international and third-party approvals.
    Kevin's foundational years as a Regulatory Toxicologist with Buckman Laboratories International was foundation in his development as an ESG leader. His role as a corporate toxicologist saw him pioneer health and environmental solutions, driving approvals and setting benchmarks for the industry.
    Kevin has a strong scientific background with an MS in Biology from The University of Memphis and a BS in Biomedical Science from Western Michigan University. His academic rigor, coupled with his expansive field experience, ensures Kevin remains at the pinnacle of ESG trends and developments. Kevin also hold two US Patents and had published or presented a number of scientific / regulatory papers
